A tall Wild West sign stands across the back on painted desert rock, and a dark brown bumper runs the top edge of the padded surround. It gives an operator a themed set rather than a plain landing ring.

The theming is the upcharge. An operator who shows a client a printed western town instead of a bare mat is selling a scene, and a scene books rodeo nights, county fairs, western themed corporate parties, grad nights and church fall festivals at a rate a plain surround never reaches. The backdrop also gives the event a finished wall for the crowd to stand behind, which is what makes the attraction look staged rather than dropped in a field.
